Unmasking Groups

Looking for a replacement for “traditional” social skills groups? Here it is!

These are social-communication groups focused on building communication skills to allow neurodivergents to feel safer and more capable of “unmasking” throughout their day.

Groups are currently designed for neurodivergent pre-teens, teenagers and young adults who struggle to “fit in” socially and currently try to “hide” their differences throughout their day.

Family consult

Are you a parent or guardian of a neurodivergent child? Feeling confused, overwhelmed, or just plain frustrated about all the seemingly conflicting information out there on how to support their communication? Or do you just need some advice on how to advocate for their needs on their Individualized Education Plan (IEP)?

If you’re looking for some help navigating the special-education world and/or want some guidance on how to help your child in their home environment, we offer consultations and family coachings to help clarify things and provide actionable steps for you to advocate for your own families’ needs.

Does the sound of your voice contribute to a sense of gender dysphoria? Our goal is to teach you how to “be your own voice therapist.” This means we will provide you with the knowledge, techniques, and exercises that build a healthy, flexible voice that will respond to whatever voice you want for all the different areas of life. (‘Cause, let’s face it, our voices can sound pretty different when presenting at work versus when we’re hanging out with our friends!)

*Full disclosure, Kim loves geeking-out about the science of the voice, speech acoustics, and all that stuff. Also, as an agender person, Kim has no pre-conceived notions of what you’re voice "should” sound like, so you get full say on what your voice needs to sound like to you.

Gender-affirming voice therapy is usually completed in a shorter span of sessions, and can be expected to cost between $400 - 900. (NOTE: All voice clients are asked to complete voice evaluation by an Ear, Nose, and Throat MD to ensure voice therapy won’t exacerbate any pre-existing vocal injuries.)
